The YouthAstroNet program and online community was developed through National Science Foundation grants 1433345 and 1433431, and is currently supported by NSF award number 2049012. Additional support comes from NASA's Universe of Learning, NASA award number NNX16AC65A. NASA's Universe of Learning is a unique STEM learning partnership between the Space Telescope Science Institute, Caltech/IPAC, the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, and the Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory. The Smithsonian Institution's Youth Access Grants program, and the Smithsonian Women's Committee have also contributed to YouthAstroNet.
